I recently had the chance to cocreate SOLIDE together with a group of architects interested in experimental object design. Together, we explored circularity not only as a visual motif, but as a conceptual framework for rethinking everyday objects. What brought us together was a shared fascination with the cylinder and all the possibilities created by this simple form. Starting from this core idea, we designed a series of lamps, stools, and tables that reflect a balance between structure and spontaneity, permanence and play.
At the heart of all of these pieces is rammed earth—a grounding, textural material that speaks to both architectural tradition and contemporary sustainability. Its tactile density and organic tones gave us a base that is at once raw, and refined. This collaboration is a space to experiment, to build, to question.
