Earth experience is bord within the collaboration between TOIETMOI studio, Solide Atelier and Delphine Pirivakil. The installation showcases a dinner table made of rammed earth sitting on concrete blocks, remains of a previous scenography.
This long table that was created for a scenographic dinner of 32 people in which guests were invited to explore, touch and experience earth, polished and raw. This table exhibits both the strength and the sensitivity of earth, an overlooked material, often considered waste in the construction industry. As the candles melt, a wave of wax spreads over the table. The lights fade away, and the dinner slowly comes to an end. But this tactile experience lives on. A reconnection between humans and materials is created.
